The Westcott Bench
Community Project in Syracuse, NY
In partnership with the Westcott Neighborhood Association (WNA), and their Public Street Amenities Committee, Kin Studio designed and built public seating for the community. At the intersection of Beech St. and Westcott st. a lively mural the represents the identity of this vibrant neighborhood, was the location we chose to install the bench.
Concept
Kin Studio was selected as the winner for the 2018 installation. The competition called to create something creative yet practical, that the community at large can utilize.
